Day 01 - Arrive in Denpasar via flight 

 

Bali is a small island located in the heart of the Indonesian archipelago and is home to about three million people. The primarily Hindu Balinese have kept their traditions and culture intact and the daily rituals can be observed all over the island in ceremonies and daily offerings. 

 

Your guide is waiting outside of the luggage claim area in the airport. Transfer (approx. 30mins) to your hotel in Nusa Dua for check-in and overnight in Nusa Dua.

Day 02 - Nusa Dua 

 

This morning, visit the temple of Uluwatu, located at the south-western tip of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula – home to stunning cliffs and widespread beaches. Admire the temple, which is perched on top of an 80 metre high cliff and admire traditional Balinese architecture. Overlook the Bali Strait from the top of the cliff and watch the daredevils below trying their surf skills on one of Bali’s most dangerous surf breaks. 


Back to Nusa Dua and enjoy a free afternoon at the perfect white sand beach. You may opt to partake in one of the numerous water sports activities on offer, which includes parasailing, snorkeling, or jet-ski rental.

Day 03 - Nusa Dua / Ubud 

 

Depart for the cultural heart of Bali, Ubud. Along the way, visit Celuk village, Batuan village and Kemenuh villageThen, visit to the Elephant Cave, Goa Gajah. The cave was built in the 9th century and the addition of the bathing place dates back to the 1950’s. Continue to the monkey forest that is home to a healthy population of long-tailed macaques. 


Return to Ubud and visit the local market before visiting Ubud Palace. The Royal Family still lives in the palace and at night the garden is used for staging some of Bali’s most important dances, such as the Legong Dance, Barong Dance, Ramayana and Mahabrata ballets.

Day 04 - Ubud 

 

Enjoy a free day in the beautiful surroundings of Ubud. Blessed with remarkable scenery, Ubud is also home to the artistic minds of many international and local artists. Choose to visit some of the galleries in town or simply enjoy the facilities of your hotel.

Day 05 - Ubud / Lovina 

 

Depart for northern Bali’s Lovina. On your way, pay a visit to Lake Bratan and enjoy a boat ride across the lake to visit the picturesque Ulun Danu temple


Continue to the Gitgit waterfalls area and enjoy a short hike see the dramatic 35m falls. The surrounding jungle is home to many tropical plants and animals and you might see some monkeys during your visit. 


Visit Singaraja, which was once the capital of the region and the Dutch colonial administrative center for Bali and the Lesser Sunda Islands east of Bali. 


Travel onward to Lovina where you will check into your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon to explore the surroundings or unwind at the volcanic black-sand beach.

Day 06 - Lovitan / Kintamani 

 

Visit the dolphins in the Bali Sea. Dozens of dolphins enjoy their early morning rituals and are not shy to come close to your boat. Then, visit Dalem temple before reaching Kintamani, home to some of the most remarkable scenery in Bali. Located about 1,700m above sea level, the air is cool and fresh and offers stunning views of the surrounding volcano peaks and lakes. 


Later, enjoy an excursion to Penelokan and visit Lake Batur, which is Bali’s largest Crater Lake and provides water for an underground network of hot springs. Board a local, rustic boat and enjoy a short trip across the lake to take in the magnificent scenery.

Day 07 - Kintamani / Candidasa 

 

After breakfast, depart for eastern Bali’s Candidasa. Take the opportunity to once again observe the beautiful views of Kintamani as you make your way to Besakih, Bali’s “mother temple”. The architecture and dramatic location of the temple are common to Bali’s other temples but the sheer size distinguishes Besakih. Visit the temple and enjoy the panoramic views of the area from atop. 


Also pay a visit to a salt panning village near Bugbug, which is for many people in this region still their main source of income.

Day 08 - Candidasa 

 

The quiet retreat town of Candidasa, a seaside town in eastern Bali, situated on the edge of a lagoon, offers a haven of tranquility


After a morning at leisure, enjoy an afternoon excursion to Tirta Gangga to visit the magnificent water palace. This beautiful place offers a peaceful exploration of several ancient buildings and great views of surrounding rice paddies. 


Continue with a drive to Tenganan and be surprised when observing the sensational culture of the Bali Aga people, who still follow cultures and traditions unknown to other Balinese.

Day 09 - Candidasa / Sanur 

 

Visit Kertha Gosa, in Klungkung regency a well preserved architectural relic built in the 18th century. Explore the site and the two main buildings still standing gracefully in a beautiful garden and observe the elaborate carvings. 


Then, drive to Sanur and after check-in, enjoy a free afternoon at the widespread, white sand beaches. Sanur’s beaches are protected by a reef, which allowing a walk into the sea of up to 100m and shallow waters which are perfect for swimming. Enjoy a free evening in southern Bali’s quietest beach town.

Day 10 - Sanur / Jimbaran Bay 

 

Leave Sanur in the mid morning and drive towards Jimbaran Bay, which is famous for its shopping and wonderful beach-side restaurants. 


Arrive in the early afternoon in Jimbaran and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Dreamland, a nearby beach that resembles its name offers white sand beaches and solid surf break making it an excellent beach to either swim or try your hand at surfing. 


You may choose to enjoy a candle-lit dinner on the beach and sample some of the local seafood.

Day 11 - Jimbaran Bay / Denpasar departure via flight

 

Check-out of your hotel no later than 12:00 noon and transfer (approx. 30mins) to the airport for your onward flight to next destination or returns your home.
