CAMBODIA

The Kingdom of Cambodia is probably most famous for being home to one of the world's most impressive man-made wonders - Angkor Wat, one of a handful of places everyone must visit during their lifetime — although just the beginning of this enigmatic country which has so much to offer. Don't go if you cannot stand to witness suffering. Don't miss it if you want the experience of a lifetime. The scars of war under Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge are largely healed now in this lovely Buddhist constitutional monarchy of extremely gracious people, delicious cuisine and rich cultural history.

CAMBODIA

The best time to travel to Cambodia is from October to February as the air is cool and the skies clear. However, the dust at this time of year can be irritating and the crowds at the Angkor temples at their highest numbers.

March to May sees hotter temperatures and dry skies, and the heat continues into June and through August when the monsoon season starts. The rains however do not usually cause a major problem for travelers as they tend to be short and hard afternoon showers.
